A Little More About Larry
Larry Becker has always had an interest in photography. In fact, when he earned his BS in Communications in 1985, he had taken several college level photography classes as part of his degree. But he focused primarily on layout and design as a part of his post-college business and left the photography to other folks on staff. Then just a few years later, with the advent of digital photography in the late 1980s, Larry got back to taking pictures himself. When he joined the staff at Kelby Training, he found himself surrounded by some of the best photographers and photography trainers in the country, and his hobby has continued to grow ever since. In discussing gadgets and enhancements he had made to improve his own photographic experience, people seemed intrigued by his inventions and money-saving measures. He approached Scott and suggested that there might be a place for a money-saving/DIY segment on the popular podcast DTownTV and the rest, as they say, is history. Cheap Shots was born.
